Our approach
Setiaalam.my uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and local features are useful. Analytics runs when a public page loads, without an interrupting consent pop-up. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals remain disabled.
What Analytics measures
Google Analytics 4 records information such as pages viewed, referring pages, broad device and browser information, approximate location derived from the connection, and selected interactions with directories and events.
What we keep out
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, contribution-form contents or raw directory search text to Google Analytics. Directory search measurement records that a search occurred, without recording what was typed.
Forms and enquiries
Contribution and promotion forms may collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, business or event details, links and preferred campaign dates. We use it to review submissions, reply to enquiries and administer any agreed placement.
Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to the site editor. Web3Forms operates infrastructure outside Malaysia; its processing practices are described in its privacy and service FAQ. Form contents are not sent to Google Analytics.
Storage and browser controls
Google Analytics may place first-party measurement cookies. Essential browser storage may also remember interface preferences such as the selected language.
You can restrict or remove cookies using your browser settings. Blocking measurement scripts or cookies may reduce the accuracy of aggregate site statistics, but it does not limit any directory, weather, event or contribution feature.
External services and links
Analytics measurement is processed by Google and may be handled outside Malaysia under its privacy policy. Links to maps, organisers, businesses and social platforms follow the privacy practices of those external services.
